Sam Johnson, EVP & CEO
Sam has over fifteen years of software design and development experience, seven of that creating next-generation electronic trading systems in the financial services industry. Immediately prior to founding TransactTools, Sam was Vice President, Equities Electronic Trading at Goldman, Sachs, and participated actively in industry initiatives around straight through processing and electronic trading. Sam served as a Director of FIX Protocol Limited and Co-Chair of the Global FIX Technical Committee. Sam earned degrees in Computer and Mathematical Science at Rice University and was captain of the Rice Rugby Club.

David Litner, SVP Engineering
David has over ten years of experience in enterprise software management, architecture and development. David led the development of the first Transactional Connectivity Management platform for financial services and was responsible for architecting the mission-critical, high performance Connect messaging engine. Prior to joining TransactTools David held a technical leadership position with Computer Science Corporation's advanced technology group where he designed and implemented software solutions for businesses in a range of industries. He earned a BA from Boston University.

Murray White, SVP Global Sales
Murray is an 18 year IT veteran, having worked in technical, managerial and leadership roles across many industries. He brings 5 years of sales and growth leadership experience, most recently with Avanade, where he was East Region Customer Director, and with ThoughtWorks, where he served as US Managing Director and prior to that, as .NET Practice Director. Murray holds a B.Sc. in Mathematics from the University of Western Ontario and an MBA from the Schulich School of Business.

Lou Modano, SVP Network Operations
Louis has over twenty years of experience supporting information technology solutions in the financial services industry. Prior to the merger of Sector, Inc. with TransactTools, Louis successfully led Sector’s Operations, Engineering, Client Services, Product Management, Sales, and P&L Management. He is currently responsible for the development and implementation of strategies that support the continued growth and success of our SFTI network, hosting infrastructure, and market data services. Prior to joining Sector, Louis held various senior leadership positions at SIAC, primarily focused on technology infrastructure, business development, and corporate services. Louis earned an MBA from St. John’s University and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Polytechnic University.

Peter Tierney, MD Asia-Pacific
Over the past 18 years Peter has held various senior management positions at BT Radianz, Omgeo and Thomson Financial with extended postings in major financial centers in Europe, Latin America, Asia Pac and the US. Peter's previous roles cover strategic business development, sales and operational management, marketing and product development across front, middle and back office applications in the financial service space. Peter has an undergraduate engineering degree from UL (Ireland) and post grad courses in finance and business administration. Peter now lives in Singapore with his wife and two boys.

Mike Johnson, VP Operations
Mike brings over twelve years of software engineering and financial management experience to his role at TransactTools. His prior work experience includes five years at Goldman Sachs, where he designed and implemented software applications used globally to track and analyze the performance of the firm's Principal Investment portfolios. He has also designed and built custom CRM and call-center applications for Sprint and Ameritech. Mike co-founded the Dallas-based software consultancy Waterloo Technologies. He earned his BBA in Finance and MBA from the University of Oklahoma.

Will Walter, VP Professional Services
Will has over seventeen years of experience in the electronic trading industry — the last six years providing consulting services to the industry and building the professional services team at TransactTools. His prior experience includes seven years in the Equities Technology group at Goldman Sachs, where Will was responsible for creating trading systems in the Listed Equities division for the execution and institutional sales desks as well as the floor of the NYSE. Will also spent three years at Deutsche Bank where he was responsible for global order management systems for the Futures and Options business and led the FIX Futures and Options working group during his tenure. Will received his B.S in Engineering from Cornell University and his MBA from NYU Stern School of Business.
